Yes. Our motorhomes have a MAM (maximum authorised mass) of 3500KG, or less, so you can drive on a standard UK driving license. You must be between 23-75 years old, have held a full UK license for EU license for at least two years, and have a maximum of six penalty points. For drivers over 75 years young, and any driver with more than six penalty points, we can refer you to our insurer for approval.
We include fully comprehensive insurance for the vehicle for the main hirer/driver, extra drivers are available to be added to the policy. Breakdown cover is also included. EU cover is available at a small extra charge. Please note the insurance does not cover your personal items and we strongly recommend arranging your own adequate travel insurance to protect yourself in the event of loss/personal damage of your personal items.
No, our motorhomes are all fully independent of the grid, with 12v lighting, a 12v TV and gas powered water heater, cooker, fridge and heating. However, most campsites have 240v electric hook up, and the use of this will reduce your gas consumption should you wish to do so.
Yes. Unlike smaller ‘camper vans’, our motorhomes have a bathroom with a shower and toilet. And both can be used ‘off grid’.
Yes, our motorhomes have a dedicated kitchen area which includes a fridge freezer, cooker with oven, grill and three hobs, sink with hot and cold water and all required crockery, utensils, and cutlery.
Yes, please make sure that the motorhome is brought back clean and tidy, as you collected it. With the toilet and waste water both empty. Failure to undertake this will incur extra charges as per our Terms and Conditions.
It is advised, but not necessary as our motorhomes do have an onboard fresh water tank. Just remember to fill up when you get onto a site, and when you leave.
We do allow pets by prior agreement. Dogs are dependent on size and breed. There is an additional charge made for pets, and please be aware that the insurance does not cover damage caused by pets.
During peak season our minimum hire charge is seven nights, unless we have short hire availability. For the remainder of the year, our minimum hire charge is for three nights other than over bank holidays when this increases to five nights. We offer discounted rates for bookings of more than one week, please ask.
The motorhomes are all covered by a full UK 24 hour breakdown service, supplied by the RAC. Full details are contained within the welcome folder in the motorhome. Our motorhomes are regularly maintained in excess of manufacturers requirements and fully inspected before EVERY hire to reduce the likelihood of a breakdown.
At the time of booking, we will discuss collection and return times. We will do our utmost to be as flexible as possible, according to your plans, however, it is your responsibility to adhere to these times, as failure to do so may result in a lesser experience for you and/or extra costs.
No, we do not impose any charges for the hire. The mileage is unlimited, unless you are travelling abroad, then the re is a charge if you exceed 2,000 miles.
Yes, we provide a secure parking place for one vehicle, however, it, and it’s contents are entirely at your own risk. And we do require you to leave your keys with us. There is no charge for this.
We take a security/hire deposit of £1250 on a credit or debit card in advance of the hire commencing (usually on collection). This is to cover any damages to the motorhome whilst in your care, and any unforeseen extras, ie late return, dirty return etc. All details are contained within our terms and conditions.
Both smoking and vaping within the motorhome is STRICTLY forbidden.
In advance of the hire date and ideally at the time of booking, certainly at the latest on collection, you must provide us with the driving license number and National Insurance number of each driver. On the day of collection, each driver must bring with them their driving license card and the required documentation (see terms and conditions). Photocopies are not acceptable. The details and addresses must match on all documents for that person, or we will not be able to cover that driver.
So that you can have the maximum time at handover, we request that you turn up on time, as requested when booking the motorhome. On arrival to our premises, we will complete the relevant paperwork required with you, which will consist of the hire agreement and confirmation of terms and conditions. We will also take copies of all driver documentation and take the payment of your security deposit. Failure to supply any of this will result in the handover not being able to proceed. We will then give you a detailed handover of the vehicle, explaining how all the equipment works, and give you a chance to ask us any relevant questions. A copy of the user manual and the hire terms and conditions are located within the motorhome.
Please allow 40 minutes for collection handover, and 15 minutes for return handover. We do include a user manual for the motorhome within the vehicle. Please arrive on time for your collection handover, as our staff do have homes to go to!!!

Unfortunately, we are unable to supply child seats, or assist with the fitting of your seats. However, please feel free to bring your own.
Unfortunately, due to the costs involved in dry cleaning duvets and bedding etc after every hire we do not supply any within the motorhome. You will be required to bring your own bedding, towels, and tea towels. For overseas customers, we can supply the items required from a linen hire company.
